1-5 Ekim 2012 tarihlerinde Kırgızistan’ın Isık-Göl Bölgesinde düzenlenecek olan uluslararası konferansın detayları aşağıdadır:

The Library and Information Consortium of the Kyrgyz Republic conducts the 13th International Conference “Issyk-Kul 2012. Libraries and Democratization of Society.” The Conference will be held at the “Issyk Kul – Aurora” resort at the Issyk Kul Lake on October 1-5, 2012.

 The main topic of the 13th Conference “Issyk-Kul 2012: Libraries and Democratization of Society” is “Library Resources for Education for Sustainable Development of Society”

 Planned organization of sections, round table discussions and presentations on the following topics:

• Open Access to Information Resources;
• Multicultural Library Service;
• Social Partnership with Local Community to Improve the Quality of Life;
• American Corners in Central Asian Libraries;
• Creating and Using Information in an Electronic Environment;
• Libraries to the Year of the Family, Peace and Harmony in the Kyrgyz Republic.
